Enjoy the Angklung Music School Udjo performances at Padasuka Village. Students will perform traditional Sundanese culture, including a wooden puppet show, bamboo orchestra, Sundanese Gamelan, and dances.
 
At 14:00h, we will pick you up from the hotel where you are staying, and we will transfer you to Padasuka Music School. After the performance, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

The angklung is a musical instrument with two bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame. The tubes are carved to have a resonant pitch when struck and are tuned to octaves.
 
The base of the frame is held in one hand, whilst the other hand strikes the instrument. This causes a repeating note to sound. Each of three or more performers in an angklung ensemble plays just one note or more, but altogether complete melodies are produced.
 
The House of Angklung Udjo, called the Saung Angklung Udjo, adopts the philosophy of easy, affordable, educative, attractive, massive, and cheerful performances that are the essence of their ultimate show called "Kaulinan Urang Lembur" or villagers’ playtime.
 
The show is packed with spectacular short performances, commencing with Wayang Golek (wooden puppet) show, Helaran (agricultural harvesting celebration) rites, traditional dances, kids’ games, introduction to angklung, angklung orchestral performance, interactive angklung performance that involves visitors playing angklung, and Arumba performance.
