Visit the world’s most spectacular Buddhist monument - the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Borobudur Temple Compounds. Built in the 8th and 9th centuries, the colossal relic looms above an emerald, green landscape in Central Java. Your itinerary includes the Pawon and Mendut temples and a visit to Candirejo, a traditional Javanese village.
In the morning, we will visit the Borobudur temple to learn and witness the temple with the biggest stupa in the world, built from only stones without any cement.
 
Our next stop will be the Mendut temple, which is the gate temple before the ancestors go to Borobudur to pray. They would pray first at this temple and another Pawon Temple.
 
In the afternoon, visit Candirejo, a traditional Javanese village which is rich in its natural surroundings and Javanese culture. The village trip is a chance to explore traditional houses, traditional craft (making pandan carpet), art performance (learn how to play gamelan), farming, and social activity in a real atmosphere.
