Walking Tour for Tasting The Authentic Indonesian Cuisine.
 
This is an exciting evening excursion in Jakarta to do a culinary adventure for the authentic Indonesian Cuisine, while we might share and get in touch with the locals. Transportation is not needed; we will walk along the culinary center of Jakarta to taste several different foods from several provinces of Indonesia. We might see some of the vendors preparing and cooking right in front of us to give the best taste of fresh-from-the-oven food.
 
The meeting point will be at the main lobby of Sarinah Department Store # 11 - MH Thamrin Street; the main street of Jakarta, from here we will start the exciting culinary adventure, firstly we will walk through Jalan Wahid Hasyim, to stop at Restaurant Garuda to taste the Rendang, then we will try the famous Sate to try the Sate Ayam and Sate Padang, later we will try the Salted and the Sweetened Martabak.
 
After the heavy food, we will have the juice, upon availability due to seasonal fruit, we might try the Terong Belanda or the Tamarillo Juice.
 
Continuing with Soup, we will try the Turmeric Chicken Soto, one of the most favorite foods that is never missed by the Javanese from the West to the East. Lastly, we will try the ‘Batavian Favorite’ Nasi Goreng Kambing or Lamb Fried Rice. Finally, we will return to Sarinah to end the trip.
