Jakarta China Town Of Old Batavia Tour
Walking tour of Chinatown area, visiting the Golden Wisdom Taoist temple, and visiting the Puppet Museum (or) Museum of Bank Indonesia.
This is an interesting excursion of Jakarta, it’s a throwback to the history dating from the 7th century during the Tang Dynasty in China and then centralized as China Town from 1670, side by side together with the city hall of the Dutch era (17th Century) known as the area of Fatahillah Square.
Stroll around the Chinatown area, walking through the busy streets of the market, including the wet market, and seeing the Chinese Temple and the Fatahilla Square. At Fatahilla Square, we will visit one of the museums with its remaining historical European buildings.
Pick up service, then drive directly to Chinatown where our vehicle will stop, and we will start to have a walking tour at the oldest Chinatown area in Indonesia. Here we will visit the Golden Wisdom Taoist temple, dating back to the 1650s.
The walking tour will be continued until we reach the center area of Fatahilla Square, and here we will visit one of the historical buildings, which is now being used as the Puppet Museum and the Museum of Bank Indonesia. Then rejoin our vehicle and drive back to the meeting point to end the excursion.
