Merapi Lava Trail & Pentingsari Village Tour

An exciting excursion to the foot of Mount Merapi volcano in Central Java 
 
If you are an adventurous and are dying to know how a volcano erupts and see its dire aftermath, take this Lava Tour up Mt. Merapi, and follow the lava's deadly path. You will find many Jeep communities at Kaliadem who can offer you an off-road adventure of the devastated area covered by ash and lava in the last eruption. The tour will always be led by professional drivers who double as lava trails guides. The rushing feeling of adrenaline will keep in as your Jeep zigzags over the trail.
 
A short drive about 1.5 hours we will reach Pentingsari village, a short more distance to reach Umbul Harjo or Kali Adem from here we will ride a 4WD Jeep to explore the ground dominated with sands and stones from the Merapi volcano eruption in 2007, it is so amazing! Sometimes, Merapi Peak is seen so clearly without any equipment tools because it is so close. During the trails we will visit several spots such as the bunker, a small museum of Merapi and catching some Instagram-able moment.
 
In the afternoon we will visit Pentingsari village, one of the most recommended villages in the vicinity of Mount Merapi National Park. This village offers the original culture, nature, and society as well as its attraction, natural scenery, work system and empowerment of the surrounding residents.
