Visit northern Bali, a part Bali that many people never see. Our destination is Singaraja at one time the capital of Bali and its main trading port. The excitement of this excursion is visiting Pura Ulun Danu Temple which was built in adoration of the Goddess Danu or the queen of water. Set within the highlands of the mountainous Bedugul, atop a plateau that sits on Lake Beratan. In the mild, mountain weather, approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, the air is crisp and cool. The stunningly clear lake is calm and almost perfectly still, giving it a somewhat surreal appearance.
