Explore the City Excursion Featuring Borobudur Temple
 
Explore the Highlights of Yogyakarta on the City Excursion in combination with one of the oldest the biggest Buddhist Stupas. The objects to be visited are the same as the Yogyakarta city Exploration, plus featuring the magnificent Borobudur temple and the Mendut Temple with its great statue of Buddha seated with two disciples.
 
Pick up service from the Hotel you stay, firstly we will visit The Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace with its grand and elegant Javanese architecture, learn and explore the authentic Javanese Culture, then visit the Taman Sari Water castle nearby, it was a bathing place for the princess. Continue our excursion to visit Kota Gede to see more of Javanese culture after the Islamic era entering Java.
 
Explore the Kota Gede Mosque, the Javanese traditional house or called “Joglo House” reserved for the Javanese palace. official residential and the nobles house including the government estate. Then we will visit the Borobudur temple to learn and witness the temple with the biggest stupa in the world built from only stones without any cement.
 
Our next stop will be Mendut temple which is the gate temple before the ancestors go to Borobudur to pray, they would pray first at this temple.
