Catch the Sunrise Moment! An Exotic View of Sunrise Over Borobudur Temple
 
Admiring the sunrise in a tropical country such as Indonesia is really an amazing event, and now witnessing the sunrise above the Borobudur Temple is really exciting, where we can see the sunrise with the silhouette of the historical 8th-century Buddhist Temple.
 
Very early in the morning at 03:00, we will provide pick-up service and drive Northwest for transfer to the village of Karangrejo near Borobudur Temple. The journey will be about 44 km and will take about 90 minutes’ drive to the destination.
 
Upon arrival at the parking yard, we need to walk about 20 minutes upward with steep climbs until we reach the top of Puthuk Setumbu to wait and witness the sunrise. The beauty of the sunrise depends so much on the weather.
 
After sunrise, we will make a short stop for refreshment and a light breakfast, then we will visit the magnificent Borobudur Temple. Lastly, we will return to Yogyakarta and after about a 2-hour drive, we may reach Yogyakarta and directly return to your hotel.
