The essence of this sightseeing tour is a visit to Kampung Lawas Maspati, a charming heritage village where you can learn about sustainable living practices. The village is also a symbol of community based tourismmwhere the villagers are the subjects, not just the objects, of the experience. 


A pick-up service will be provided to begin the excursion. First, we will visit Tugu Pahlawan (Hero Monument) to learn about Indonesia's struggle for independence and explore the museum's exhibits. 


Next, we’ll head to Kampung Lawas Maspati, a charming heritage village where you can learn about sustainable living practices. Then, continue to Surabaya Chinatown, whereyou can explore vibrant streets and visit the Hok An Kiong Temple, one of the oldest and most revered Chinese temples in Surabaya. Dating back to the 18th century, the temple is known for its beautiful architecture, intricate carvings, and serene atmosphere. Finally, we’ll conclude at the Arab Quarter (Ampel), home to the historic Ampel Mosque. Built in the 15th century, the mosque is an important religious and cultural landmark for the local Muslim community. This tour promises a blend of history, culture, and vibrant local life in just half a day. 


For a group size of minimum 10 pax, at Kampong Lawas Maspati, we will provide performance by the local villagers as of Sustainable Tourism to involve local community as the subject not the object.
