Embark on a one-day excursion from Surabaya to discover the rich cultural and historical treasures of East Java. Start the day with a visit to the Trowulan Museum, which houses a vast collection of stone sculptures, ceramics, inscriptions, and architectural remnants discovered during archaeological excavations in the region. Next, head to Bajang Ratu Temple. Believed to have been part of a royal complex, this temple offers a glimpse into the artistic and architectural achievements of the Majapahit period. Afterward, continue to Tikus Temple, an ancient Hindu-Buddhist temple complex. The temple's unique design and detailed reliefs make it a fascinating stop. Following the visit, enjoy a traditional Indonesian lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, conclude the day with a visit to the Sleeping Buddha Temple, a serene site home to a large reclining Buddha statue set amidst lush greenery. Finally, we will return to Surabaya in the late afternoon, completing a memorable day filled with history, culture, and scenic exploration.
